6381Y Cable is a power cable suited to applications where flexibility is important. With its class 5 plain copper conductors,

6381Y Cable sits apart from other more rigid power cables such as Steel Wire Armoured (SWA) and 11KV Cable (with class 2 stranded conductors).

This PVC flexible cable — that meets the requirements of BS6004 — is a single core, unarmoured cable with PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) insulation and a flame retardant PVC sheath. It is used for DC power supply on telecom equipment and can be clipped directly to walls or used on a cable tray — armoured power cables with mechanical protection are required for direct burial.
